Profile
I placed in the first percent of the National University Exam, which 1.5 million candidates took in 2008. I attended Fatih University with full scholarship, and I graduated sixth. During my degree, I successfully combined my studies with work and other commitments, which demonstrate that I am self-motivated, organized and highly adaptable when working under pressure. I have a clear, logical mind, take a practical approach to problem solving, and have a drive to see thing through to completion. I enjoy working on my own initiative or in a team. In short, I am reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, and eager to learn and have a genuine interest in social sciences. In addition, I have authored three academic articles, one of which was published in an academic law magazine.

Intern, Turkish American Business Network – September 2014 – Present
- TABN is a chamber of commerce, which has 350 members from business world in DC Metropolitan Area.
- Organize monthly networking breakfasts that bring together almost 50 members and at least a speaker.
- Contribute to Mid-Atlantic Small Business Summit 2014 on September, including the scheduling of the program and the overall organization.

- Turkish Cultural Center is a community of Turkish emigres who live in Boston.
- Managed and organized cultural programs, seminars and meetings.

- Managed eight-person team during promotional campaign.
- Made and distributed advertisemnts, which were featured in local newpapers
Assistant, United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries – May 2011
- Worked as Assistant to Foreign Minister of Cameroon.
- Assisted the Minister and served as his liaison and organizational contact during conference in Istanbul.
Research Member, Civilacademy – 2009 – 2012
- Civilacademy is an interdisciplinary group of social scientists founded at the Middle East Technical University. Membership is comprised of successful and committed students, who wish to enter academia upon graduation. Majority of alumnus are successful professors and researchers at prestigious academic institutions.
- Organized seminars with popular and famous academics, such as Professor Mete Tuncay. Also, organized academic reading club.
Project Assistant, Fatih University Honor Academy – 2009 – 2011
- Public Administration at Fatih University. Honor Academy works with the most academically ambitious and successful students to produce independent, academic works. Honor Academy is highly selective, students serve as research assistants to professors and help them complete academic research. Research is tailored to students interests.

Interests
2006-2008 Chosen to sing (vocal range: baritone) for the Turkish Folk Music Choir at my high school. Competed in National Turkish Folk Music Choirs Singing Contest among High Schools.
2004- 2008 Received classical, Shakespearan theater training in high school. Went on to play the titular character —The Village Idiot —in the play “Neighboring Village Idiot” written by Professor Ustun Dokmen, after obtaining my theater degree.
